This week was alright. Nothing much happened.
On Wednesday we had a lesson with an inactive member and her daughter who isn't a member. There's always a movie playing on their TV. The movie on was the new movie called roadhouse. So halfway during the lesson, I looked over at the TV and saw Connor McGregor walking through the street butt-naked. It was so hard not to laugh with that going on while we were teaching the plan of salvation.
We also had general conference this week. I was able to listen to the first session on Saturday and Sunday all the way. But I didn't get to hear all of Saturday afternoon session because the internet died so I wrestled with my zone leader elder sandes.
He had me pinned the first half but then I used my eagle powers to get up. I picked him up and then we fell on the fan haha. I responded by putting him in a headlock with one arm and held his legs together with the other. This worked until he got his arms free so I took my other arm and pinned his arms, while holding his legs down with mine. While I'm no wrestler I certainly made him tap haha.
What else, oh ya conference... I watched the rest in spanish, so I'm gonna have to rewatch it again 🤪
