What up pimps this week was long, we didn't get a lot of work done either 😭 due to it being the week long party of the 18th! We had to go to the hospital because my comp got kicked in the foot, turns out he broke his toe.
On the 18th we had lunch at a members house out in the boonies. We were a 30 min drive from town. We had barbecue which was really good. But when we asked the member to take us home he said he'll take us home when we finished all of the food. (He cooked enough meat to feed a small village)
The boy left the room took a nap and came back an hour later 😳
Long story short we got to his house at 1:30pm and finally got home at 9pm. Do the math.
But other than that we taught some really good lessons about the plan of salvation to this old grandma whose son just died. The spirit was strong and she said she'll come to church next week!!
We went to teach this dope kid Alex about why it's important to go to church on Sunday. After we played guitars and started making a dope song.
My mom wanted me to be more spiritual in my emails so here's a scripture verse I love sharing with inactive members.
2 Nephi 9:24 "And if they will not repent and believe in his name, and be baptized in his name, and endure to the end, they must be damned; for the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has spoken it."
One time in my training, Elder Core and I shared this scripture with a member whose been inactive for 10 years. Well let's just say he was at church the next day haha.
